1)该句是where引导的特殊疑问句,用于询问“某人或某物在哪里?”结构为“Where+be+主语?”句子主语可以是人或物,be 动词要与后面的主语保持一致。
Where are her books?她的书在哪里?
Where is your sister?你的妹妹在哪里?
2)在回答该句式时,用“主语+be+表示地点的介词短语”意为“...在...”。句子的主语一般用代词代替,以避免与前面问句中的名词重复。
-Where is my English book? 我的英语书在哪里?
-It's on the desk. 它在课桌上。

例句:There are two tables in the room.房间里有两张桌子。
拓展:table 构成的短语:
1)at the table 在桌子旁边

2)at table 在吃饭;在进餐
Lucy is at the table now. 现在露西在吃饭。
1.on与over
1)on 表示“在...上”,强调两物在平面上有接触
His coat is on the bed. 他的大衣在床上。
2)over 也表示“在...上”,表示恰好垂直的关系,或者含有空间上接近的含义,其反义词为under.
There is a bridge over the river. 河上有座桥。
2.under 与below
under 表示“在...下”时,指垂直的正下方,反义词是on
如:The dog is under the table.狗在桌子下面
below 表示“在...下”,范围较大,不一定指垂直的下方。
All the fields are below the plane.所有的田地都在飞机下面。

句子结构:这是一个主句加上一个或一个以上的从句结构复合句。
重点 1)I think 是主句,后面部分为从句。
I think you are right.我认为你是对的。
1)grandparents' 意思是外祖父母,表示复数意义;通常在名词后加s构成名词的复数形式。表示物品属于名词所有,在该名词后加s,表示“的”;以s结尾的复数名词,只加',表示“有”。
