名词所有格（Noun's）
名词所有格表示所属关系，即表示某物是“谁的”。名词所有格常见的结构有三种：
一、's所有格
表示有生命的人或动物的名词所有格，单数名词和不以s结尾的复数名词一般在词尾加“'s”，以s结尾的复数名词在词尾只加“'”。
e.g. Kate's cat 凯特的猫
Children's Day 儿童节
the girls' books 女孩们的书
·We usually add 's to a singular noun to express the idea of belonging.
I would like to take the boys to our school's football field.
·We add ' to a plural noun ending in -s.
The exchange students' homes are in the UK.
·We add 's to plural nouns that do not end in -s.

·We often use 's with names.
Neil's mother is calling him from the UK.
Note:
1、若两人共有某物，用A and B's
e.g. Mrs. King is Lucy and Lily's mother.
2、若两人分别拥有某物，用A's and B's
e.g. These are Lucy's and Lily's beds.
Presents for the students
The students have some presents for the exchange students, but their things got mixed up. Mr Wu is asking Amy which things belong to which people. Help Amy complete the answers.

【扩展】二、of所有格
1）无生命事物名词的所属关系，—般常用“of+名词”来表示，即of所有格。如：
a map of China 一幅中国地图，
the legs of the table 桌子的腿
2）of所有格与's所有格有时可以互换，不过要注意它们物主的位置不同。如：
猫的名字是咪咪。
The name of the cat is Mimi.
(of结构，物主the cat在后)
The cat's name is Mimi.
('s结构，物主the cat在前)
特殊所有格（to的所有格〈一般有唯一性〉）
1、门的钥匙：the key to the door
2、问题的答案：the answer to the question
3、去公园的路：the way to the park
Possessive adjectives and pronouns
We use possessive adjectives and pronouns to express the idea of belonging.
There are lots of nice shops in our town.
An old friend of mine is coming to see me.
That is your T-shirt.
It's yours(your T-shirt).
It belongs to you.
Those are our books.
They are ours(our books).
They belong to us.
-- Is this your coat?
-- No, it's not mine. Mine is blue. This coat is red.
-- Whose is it?
-- I think it's Millie's(Millie's coat). It's hers.
-- Thank you all the same.

·形容词性物主代词：
位于名词前，用作定语，限定该名词的意义。如：my pen，your ruler
·名词性物主代词：
在句中充当主语，宾语或表语相当于“形容词性物主代词+名词”，后面不能再跟名词。
如：This pen is mine.
速记口诀：形物代词能力差，自己不能来当家。句子当中做定语，后面要把名词加。名物代词能力强，自己独来又独往。
使用名词性物主代词应注意：
1、Mine=my book，以免名词重复。
2、名词性物主代词后不能再接名词。
3、名词性物主代词作主语时，谓语动词的单、复数与它所代的名词有关。
4、“of+名词性物主代词”表示许多中的一个。
用适当的代词完成句子。
