五年级英语上册Module 4 Unit 3《Fire（ PartA）》
start   发生；生（火）
start  的基本意思是“从静止状态转移到运动状态”，可指工作、活动等的开始；战争、火灾等的发生；也可指人开始工作，着手某项活动等；还可指人、事物使某事情发生或引起某事情。
eg.It started to rain.
下起雨来了。
eg.I used to start work at 9 o'clock every day.
我过去常在每天9:00开始工作。
eg.We are just about to start.
我们正要出发。
eg.She started at the sound of my voice.
她听到了我的声音，蓦地一惊。
careful  小心的‘谨慎的
adj. 小心的，仔细的（care关心；抚爱+ful有...的→adj.小心的，仔细的）
eg.Please listen carefully.
请仔细听。
eg.She put the glass down carefully.
她小心翼翼地放下玻璃杯。
eg.Drive carefully.
小心开车。
smoke  吸烟
eg.The fireplace smokes badly.
这壁炉冒烟太多。
eg.Do you smoke?
你抽烟吗？
eg.He never smokes.
他从不抽烟。
campfire  营火；篝火
eg.You have to make a campfire.
你们必须生火。
eg.We lit a campfire during the night.
我们在晚上烧了一个营火。
eg.The campfire illuminated the dark sky.
营火点亮了夜空。
match  火柴
match 作“火柴”解，既可作可数名词，也可作不可数名词。“一根火柴”可说a match,但“一盒火柴”要说a box of matches.
eg.Don't strike a match if you smell gas.
如果闻到煤气味，千万不要划火柴。
eg.It's very dark here,will you light a match?
这里很暗，你点根火柴好吗？
eg.He struck the match twice,but it couldn't burn.
他擦了两次火柴，可是点不着。
eg.I want to but a box of matches.
我想买盒火柴。
Don't =do not 不要 (do not 的常用口语形式）

must/mustn't    aux.v. 必须，必然要，很可能

safety  安全  n.(名词）
safety  ”安全，平安“，指远离危险的威胁而处于不受伤害的状态。引申可指”平安地带“。
safety  多用作不可数名词，常用语in safety或with safety短语中。
eg.A bank assures safety for your money.
银行保证你的存款安全。
eg.We're keeping you here for your own safety.
我们让你呆在这里是为了你自身的安全。
eg.It's very useful to teach children about fire safety.
把用火安全常识教给孩子们是非常有用的。
