1.Here Was a Little Girl
本模块中的诗歌改编自19世纪一首家喻户晓的歌曲，该歌曲由著名的美国诗人亨利·沃兹渥斯
·朗费罗创作。他用这首歌曲哄直径的幼女伊迪丝入睡。
以下是这首歌曲（人们如今通常把它当做诗歌或韵诗来朗诵）的原始版本：
Here was a little girl,
who had a little curl,
right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
she was very good indeed.
But when she was bad,
she was horrid.

2.童谣
许多国家都有供孩子们吟唱的简单歌谣。在英语中，这些歌谣叫做“Nursery Rhymes”。从传
统意义上讲，“nursery”是孩子们度过绝大部分童年时光的地方。
有些童谣已经有几百年的历史。一些童谣的来源已无处可查，它们的起源将永远是个谜，一些
历史学家把童谣分为三大类：一是仅仅为供孩子们娱乐而编写的童谣，比如《小猪去市场》
（This Little Piggy Went to Market）；第二类类似摇篮曲，是在孩子的小床边轻轻哼唱，
哄孩子入睡的歌谣；最后一类是根据成人的谜语而改编的童谣。
