       副词
英语中的副词该如何使用呢?应该放在句中的什么地方呢?一般
来说,副词主要用来修饰动词、形容词、副词或其他结构。例如:
1)She plays the piano badly.
她钢琴弹得很糟。
2)I'm really tired after last night's tennis match.
昨晚网球赛后我真的很累。
3)The teacher speaks very slowly and carefully.
这位老师讲得很慢、很仔细。
   注意副词与形容词在位置及功能上的不同,试比较:
1)The teacher speaks carefully.
这位老师讲得很仔细。
2)The teacher is careful.
这位老师很细心。
不难发现,副词修饰动词时通常出现在行为动词(实义动词)后,
而形容词通常位于系动词之后或名词之前。

另外,有许多副词是由形容词+ly构成的。
如:
careful+ly - carefully
quick+ly -quickly
safe+ly -safely
busy+ly -busily
heavy+ly -heavily
需要注意的是,有些词既可作形容词也可作副词。如:
fast,early,late等。

             GRAMMAR
           形容词比较级和最高级
1.比较级定义:表示两者或两类人或事物之间的比较。
最高级表示三者或者三者以上的人或事物的比较。
2.变化规则
(1)一般在词尾加-er/est.如:
small  smaller   smallest
old     older     oldest
(2)以字母e结尾的形容词直接加-r/st.如:
large larger  largest
fine  finer    finest
(3)以重读闭音节结尾的形容词,如末尾只有一个
辅音字母,应双写该字母,再加-er/est.如:
big  bigger  biggest  
hot  hotter  hottest
(4)以辅音字母加y结尾的形容词,把“y”变“i”,
再加-er/est.如:
busy   busier  busiest
easy   easier  easiest
英语中一些多音节的形容词、副词,其比较级形式
是在该词前加more,最高级加most。除了多音节形容词、
副词变比较级、最高级要用more/most之外,部分双音节的词,
如careful,tiring,boring,slowly等比较等级也是在词前加
more/most。由此可见,多音节形容词及部分双音节形容词、
副词比较级、最高级的句式结构为:
 A+谓语+more/most+读音节形容词/部分双音节形容词/副词+...

       Grammar
      动词不定式   用法
动词不定式是由“to+动词原形”构成(有时可以不带to)。其否定形式是
“not+动词不定式”(不与助动词连用)。它属于一种非谓语动词的形式,
在句子中不能充当谓语,没有人称和数的变化,但它可以保留动词的
性质,其本身可以带宾语或状语 等附加成分(不定式和其附加成分称为
不定式短语)。动词不定式(短语)的句法功能非常广泛,在句中可作主语、
宾语、补足语、表语、定语及状语等成分。
1.动词不定式作宾语补足语
可用于“动词+宾语+动词不定式”这一结构的动词有很多,除本模块出现的
allow,choose等词外,常见的还有:want,tell,ask,invite,help等。
She asked him to come to the party.
She wants me to go with her.
需要注意的是:
1)以上动词接不定式作宾语补足语时,若要表达否定的意思,要在
to do 前加not,构成not to do 的形式。例如:
Mr Han told us not to make too much noise.
韩先生告诉我们不要弄出太大声音。
Jackie told me not to touch anything!
杰基告诉我不要碰任何东西。
2)有些动词后接动词作宾语补足语时,可以接不带to的
不定式,常见的这类动词有:help,make,let,have,hear,feel,
see等。例如:
I'll have Tony show you around the school.
我会让托尼带你参观校园。
His words made everyone laugh.
他的话让大家哄堂大笑。

2.动词不定式作目的状语
如果表示“做某事是为了什么”,可以用动词不定式表示目的。
例如:
We don't want to lose tigers,elephants or any other
animals,so the WWF is working hard to save them all.
在这种情况下,不定式既可以放在句首,也可以放在句尾。
Dylan trained hard to improve his basketball skills.
迪伦刻苦训练以提高自己的篮球技能。
也可以说:
To improve his basketball skills,Dylan trained hard.
