A whale
A whale look like a big fish.It lives in the sea.It can swim,but it is not a fish.Fish lay eggs.A goldfish lays eggs.A crab lays eggs,too.
A whale does not lay eggs.A dolphin doesn't lay eggs,either.
鲸看起来像一种大鱼。它生活在海洋里。它会游泳，但它不是鱼。鱼产卵。金鱼产卵。螃蟹也产卵。鲸不产卵。海豚也不产蛋。
A mother whale gives birth to a baby whale.Do you know that a baby whale is about 4-5 metres long?

很多动物生育它们的后代。他们被称为哺乳动物。猫、狗和猴子是一些哺乳动物。你知道更多吗？
鲸是哺乳动物，是海洋中最大的动物。鲸的身体很大，最大的体长可达30多米，最小的也超过5米。目前，已知最大的鲸约有16万余公斤重，最小的也有2000公斤。
鲸的体型像鱼，呈梭形；头部大，眼小，耳廓完全退化；颈部不明显；前肢呈鳍状，后肢完全退化；多数种类背上有鳍；有齿或无齿；鼻孔一或二个，长在头顶上；皮肤下有一层厚的脂肪，可以保温和减小身体的比重。
鲸用肺呼吸，在水面吸气后即潜入水中，可以潜泳10-45分钟。一般以浮游生物、软体生物以及鱼类为食。
鲸是胎生，通常每胎产一子，用乳汁哺育幼鲸。但许多人分其为鱼类，事实上它们不是鱼类而是哺乳动物。
