Language points
1.Is this by Strauss or Mozart?
by 这里表示“由...作曲”,by 短语用作be动词的表语。by还可根据句子翻译成“由...写的;由...演唱”。如:
I like novels by Lu Xun.
我喜欢鲁迅写的小说。
2. ...I'm not sure.  ...我不确信。
sure 作形容词,意为“肯定的,确信的”,后可接that从句;be sure of/about 意为“对...有把握”;be sure to do意为“一定会做某事”。如:
Are you sure of your answer?
你能确信你的答案吗?
My teacher is sure to help me.
我的老师肯定能帮我。
I'm sure that I can pass the test.
我确信我能通过这次考试。
3.It goes through Vienna.
through 意为“穿过,经过”,常与pass,go,walk等动词连用。
across,through,over 三者都有“通过,穿过”之意,区别是:
①across 表示从一定范围的一边到另一边,与on有关,表示动作是在某一物体的表面进行的。
They walk across the road.
他们穿过公路。
②through  表示从中间通过,强调动作是在里面进行的。
We walk through the forest.
我们穿过森林。
③over 多指空间范围上通过,越过或垂直在上,和表面不接触等。
The birds fly over the city.
鸟儿飞过城市。
用across,over或through 填空
1)The table is too wide.We can't carrry it (throught)the doorway.
2)A big tree fell right (across)the road.
3)If we can't go (over)the mountain,we must go round it.
4.Listen to this fantastic voice.
The sound is very...different,isn't it?
[辨析]voice,sound 的用法
voice  指说话声、歌唱声、电台声音、鸟叫声等。如:
I recognized his voice at once when he phoned.
他打电话时,我一下子就听出了他的声音。
Don't speak in such a high voice.
说话声音不要那么大。
Do you often listen to the Voice of America?
你经常听美国之音吗?
sound 声音、音响,其含义最广,指人能听到的任何声音,包括大的、小的、好听的、难听的、有意义的和无意义的等等。如:
Through the half-opened door came the sound of many voices.
从半开着的门里面传来了很多人的说话声。
Sound travels more slowly than light.
声音比光传播得慢。
We couldn't hear a sound here.
在这里我们一点声音也听不到。
5.Give us a break
嘿,让我们休息一下吧!
嘿,给我们一点空间吧!
break 在这里是名词空闲的意思,还有小息的意思。
如:have a break 休息一下
另外,break 还有动词的用法,意为破、猎、弄破等。短语有break away 突然挣脱,逃脱   break down 出故障,坏掉  break into/in  强行闯入,破门而入    break out  突然开始,爆发

反意疑问句
1.反意疑问句的定义
反意疑问句又叫附加疑问句,是指当提问的人对前面所叙述的事实不敢肯定,而需要向对方加以证实时所提出的问句。
2.反意疑问句的构成
其结构为:前一部分是一个陈述句,后一部分是一个简单的文具。它由“助动词/情态动词或系动词be(肯定或否定)+主语(代词)”构成。
3.反意疑问句构成应注意以下几点:
①前面的陈述句如果是肯定的,反意疑问句就要否定形式;如果是否定的,反意疑问句就用肯定形式.
e.g. You like classical music,don't you?
This music isn't very popular,is it?
②助动词/情态动词或be动词在人称和数上要与句子的谓语动词保持一致。
③反意疑问句中的主语必须是代替前面主语的代词。
还要注意:
①陈述句部分如果含有否定意义的词(nothing,never,little,few等),反问句要用肯定式。
②当句子为祈使句时,反问句一般用will you.
Drive more slowly ,will you?
慢点开车,好吗?
当祈使句为let's....结构时,则用shall we.
Let's go to cinema,shall we?
我们去看电影,好吗?
