1.What did Catherine Ⅱ do with the Amber Room?
  She had it moved to a palace outside St Petersburg and told her artist to add more details to it.
2.When and how was the Amber Room supposed to have been lost?
  In September,1941 the Nazi German army secretly stole the Amber Room and then it disappeared mystically.

have/get sth done有两层含义
(1).使某事被做（主语有意识的行为,可能是主语自己做或者让别人去做）
你最好把那颗坏牙拔掉。
You'd better have/get that bad tooth pulled out.
(2).遭遇,经历（违背主语的意愿）
他的钱被偷了。
He had/got his money stolen.

3.This was a time when the two countries were at war.
这是在两国交战时期。
介词+名词（表状态）
at war/work/home/table/dinner
on show/duty/sale/holiday/fire/watch
in trouble/danger/battle/doubt
under repair/discussion/construction

4.There is no doubt that the boxes were then put on a train for Kongsberg,which was at that time a German city on the Baltic Sea.
毫无疑问,这些箱子后来被装上火车运往格尼斯堡,当时德国在波罗的海边的一个城市。
doubt  n.v.怀疑,疑惑；怀疑,不相信
（1）There is no doubt… 毫无疑问…

   他明天是否会来还不确定。
There is some doubt whether he is coming tomorrow.

remain
（1）vi.留下,遗留,残存
I went to the city,but my brother remained at home.
（2）link-verb.后接n./adj./介词短语/表位置的adv.
My friend became a boss,but I remained a teacher.
The death of the old man remained unknown.
例如:Although he has taken a lot of medicine,his health remains poor.
[点拨]remain意为“仍然是”,后接形容词作表语。

作介词,意思是“相当于……的价值”
（2）.The winner will receive $10 worth of books.
（3）.Their help was of great worth.
作名词,意思是“价值……的东西；作用,价值”
   ①be(well) worth sth./doing sth.(主动表被动)
    （很）值得（费周折）,（很）有价值
   ②be worth+钱数或相当于钱的名词如price,much,well来修饰而不用very或very much。
